REDDITCH Regents stalwart George Kerr is preparing for an emotional last outing after eight years with the club.

Founder member Kerr fills the small forward position for the last time on Sunday at home to Avon Valley (tip-off 8.15pm).

And the Regents are out to prove a point after losing a tight game to Avon by four points in a pre-season friendly.

Coach Dave Bradshaw was hoping to finally blood twin towers Lee Dowling and Andy Swift in attack for the Arrow Vale Sports Centre outfit but has been denied his dream strike force because work commitments have ruled out two spot Adam Jefferies.

Guard Lewis Young is also missing with an ankle injury but Tony Hobday is available after work commitments ruled him out of the Rose Bowl walkover against Birmingham Uni.

Bradshaw is hoping to return to strength when the Regents entertain Warley B after the Christmas break.

They will be gunning for revenge after going down to a Warley side packed with Premier Division players by 40 points at the start of the season.

The all-conquering Regals continued their domination of the Premier Division with a 106-62 demolition of Cheslyn Hay side Buccaneers.

For the first seven minutes it seemed Regals were at last being given a game, with the score 16-14 Regals.

But, roused from their slumbers Regals went on a 19-0 rampage to lead 55-27 at half time.

The second half proved to be more productive for Buccaneers but was more to do with Regals coach Chris Lowe's experiments in offence and defence than with the visitors.

Regals return to action on Sunday January 7 with Dudley Aztecs the visitors.
