SUNDAY'S match started in poor conditions following the recent rain. Five minutes into the game a hailstorm struck making the underfoot conditions even worse.
Despite the conditions both teams demonstrated good handling skills with very few dropped passes.
Stourbridge took an early lead with a try from the right wing. Town's forwards Tom Hinks, Freddie Cowen, Matthew Haines, Gareth Reusser and Martin Bunn started to work harder and win more ball. Tom Hinks rounded off the forward effort with two tries.
Thomas Cole led the back line with good performances from scrum half Peter Ross and newer players Matthew Hales and Luke Jones. Sam Schofield scored to give Bromsgrove a lead but Stourbridge equalised with the last play of the game.
