AT last prospective parish councillor Frank Howard talks of his first proposal, to spend many thousands of pounds of our property tax money on building a new parish hall to hold his meetings in.
Where will it go - on the Recreation Ground perhaps? I speak not as a newcomer, I have lived in Old Birmingham Road for 50 years, which has never been part of Lickey End.
I recently canvassed the area I live in. Of 70 people I spoke to, 64 were against a parish council, two were in favour and four were don't knows. Hardly the overwhelming support Cllr Psirides claims for north of the M42. Let's get the record straight. There has not been a vote on it yet, only a postal consultancy letter from Bromsgrove District Council.
W Malcolm,
Old Birmingham Road,
Bromsgrove.
