A CHARITY for elderly people in Bromsgrove will officially open its new premises tomorrow.
The offices of Age Concern, in Windsor Street, were bought and refurbished with a National Lottery grant and will be opened by the director general of Age Concern, Gordon Lishman.
On the ground floor of the building is an information centre which includes the form filling service to help people with benefits and, in future, will have internet access.
The first floor holds the offices and a meeting room available for hire by local organisations.
Next year Age Concern expects to launch a befriending phone line for people on their own or carers to be contacted regularly with support.
