YOUNGSTER Chad Yarranton took the Aiwa Youth 80cc UK Supercross Championship at Exeter's Westpoint Arena on Sunday.
The talented Stourport 12-year-old's determination and performances over the gruelling five-round national series earned him the latest in Aiwa home entertainment systems.
And the youngster's professionalism and showmanship have attracted sponsorship from Fox clothing and Cradley Kawasaki.
Yarranton will have the opportunity to defend his title next year as the rapidly expanding series continues to grow.
He finished seventh in the first race at the weekend after slipping off but recorded a fine third place next time around.
His proud dad Buster said: "He's been filmed by Channel Four and that should be on television in January.
"He got on the podium and was the proper showman again, throwing his shirt into the crowd.
"Next year, he will be able to wear the number one on his back. We are proud of him."
Yarranton now prepares for the Motocross British Youth Championships next April and he will also be testing a new bike over from America.
Buster added: "He prefers the supercross because he likes the bigger jumps but he'll have a go at anything."
The youngster will be practising with fellow Stourport racer Justin Morris as he prepares for the challenges ahead.
