SPIRITED Stourport Ladies 1sts continued their winning run at South Nottingham when they fought back to secure a 4-3 victory in the Midland Conference League.
They gained the upper hand with an early short-corner, converted by Fran Long, but Notts came back undeterred and went into a 2-1 interval lead.
This lead was extended soon after the re-start only for excellent teamwork and determination by the Stourport side to bring them back into the game when Karen Roberts scored and Tina Evans equalised.
Stourport kept the pressure on and were rewarded with a last-minute strike from Evans, securing all three points for the visitors.

Worcester Norton 3
Stourport began on the attack in Worcestershire Division One but were unable to break through the visitors' defence.
Norton who took the lead before half-time, extended it in the 45th minute and put the match beyond Stourport's reach five minutes later.
Despite creating late chances, the home side could not break through in front of goal and once again saw the points slip away.
Cresconians 3 Stourport Ladies 3rds 1
Despite being 1-0 ahead at half time in the Worcestershire Second Division, Stourport fell victim to three second-half goals to continue their losing run.
Outstanding saves by keeper Katie Walker kept the home side out in the first half.
And in the 17th minute, centre-back Sara Jennings initiated a series of passes which ended with Wilma Martin's cross being converted by Vicky Whitehouse for her first team goal.
Cresconians piled on the pressure but several short-corners were kept out by saves from Walker and the superb defending of Jennings and Sandra Barlow.
However, it all went wrong for Stourport in the second half as the score was levelled within minutes of the re-start and a second goal was added just two minutes later.
The third came after another 20 minutes of play but Stourport never gave up the battle, their best chance falling to Martin whose point-blank shot was saved by the home keeper.
