The spotlight was on Chaddesley Corbett's ever-improving Kidderminster and District League Premier Division side with the first team game with postponed.
They beat Parkdale 4-1 away for their fifth consecutive win under the leadership of Lol Rose and Peter Bayliss.
Chaddesley took a deserved lead when striker Ian Vogel nodded home but poor finishing from the home side let them off the hook.
Neal Jennings's defence held firm and limited Parkdale to long-range efforts in the second half.
Chaddesley looked dangerous on the attack with Andy Potter and Simon Shaw passing well and youngster Gavin Knight impressing.
They sealed victory with a second for Vogel and two for Jason Edney, while Parkdale scored a consolation penalty.
