CLEOBURY Mortimer fell to a powerful second-half display from Midlands Four West (South) high-fliers Sillhillians as they were defeated 27-3.
A Colin Smith penalty kept them in touch at 5-3 in the first period but the final scoreline could have been worse but for some inaccurate conversion kicking.
Cleobury coach Micky Groves had a full squad to choose from and a long list of replacements due to the postponement of the 2nds game.
The first half was close and tight as Sillhillians' tactic of driving close to the pack played into Cleobury's hands.
But the home side did clinch an unconverted try to take their narrow lead into the interval.
However, Sillhillians altered their game plan and spread their attacks wide to exploit the pace of the outside trio.
As a result, Cleobury conceded a further four tries and although only one was converted, the visitors' own attacks were kept at bay.
