GEORGE Cowley is of course correct in reminding me that it was "the people" who put this government into power.
However, with any luck we may see the old adage "everyone learns by their mistakes" come home to roost.
For what is their arrogant government giving us but a downgraded country where self and possessions are God; where children grow up without any respect for their parents, their teachers or authority of any kind, where political correctness prevails over common sense.
This is a downgraded country where old people are too frightened to go out alone and where even young children are murdered in daytime for no reason whatsoever. This week's "downgrading" included lowering the age for homosexual consent to 16.
The country's big problem is in finding a party with the guts to put political gain to one side and stand firm and bring integrity, stability and a sense of purpose back into the picture.
