EVESHAM Wheelers' club run had a surprisingly good turn out considering the wet and windy conditions last Sunday.
Twenty members, led in two groups by Dave Burfoot and Julie Edwards, headed out to Winchcombe.
The fast group took a route through Bidford, Honeybourne, Broadway and on to Winchcombe, while the second run was through Elmley Castle, Ashton-u-Hill, Conderton, Teddington Alstone, Gretton to meet at Winchcombe.
A brisk direct route home was taken by the soggy cyclists to complete 40 miles.
This Sunday is the club's traditional Christmas run, which will meet at 9am in the High Street and then on to Hailes Abbey for coffee and then to Teddington Hands for a lunch stop.
Lights will be needed for the home run.
