ST Mary's Church are holding their Christmas Fair at Upton Memorial hall tomorrow (Saturday) beginning at 9.30am.
There will be various stalls selling cakes, toys, bric-a-brac, Christmas decorations etc. go along and look for some bargain Christmas presents.
Bridge Builders are holding their Christmas party at the Vicarage on Sunday from 3-5pm. This is open to all children who have attended meetings during the past year. There will be plenty to eat and lots of games to play!
Carols by Candlelight will be held at St Mary's Church on Sunday, beginning at 6.30pm.
Longdon School Christmas Service will be held in the church starting at 9.30am on Wednesday followed by seasonal refreshments in the school hall.
On Thursday, a Christmas Activity morning takes place at the Vicarage, 10am - noon. There will be Christmas decorations to make, games to play, Christmas cookery, singing and refreshments. To book a place for our child (ages 5-11) please ring Eileen Moss on (01684) 833256, cost: £1.50 per child to cover materials and refreshments.
The annual dinner of the Longdon Churchwomen's Fellowship was much enjoyed by all those present. Once again, a delicious feast had been prepared by members and a skilled magician performed some amazing tricks for their entertainment.
