THE town council's temporary office will be a demountable building at Bulls Head Yard car park until the former magistrates court is refurbished.
Documents will be stored at Stratford Council's offices and will be returned to the refurbished building where it is expected they will be housed in the basement.
The council is due to surrender its current office in February for refurbishment, which is expected to start in March.
Town council clerk Derrick Ward said: "I would expect the district council will pay for our accommodation to hold meetings.
"One suggestion is that we apply to use the Baptist meeting room which may also help towards its funds.
"I have already fixed meetings for the coming year."
Mr Ward also said the four-unit demountable was ordered on Thursday.
