THREE Malvern men have been presented with long service awards by the Football Association.
The ceremony was held at the Worcestershire County Cricket Club where the Worcestershire FA chairman Ken Clifford presented several long service awards which were engraved clocks
For the first time ever a number of in excess of 21-year long service awards were presented and included in these were Brian Burge, secretary of Malvern Rangers, West Malvern secretary Terry Cole and the Malvern League's Bob Cole.
Brian has been secretary of the Rangers for 35 years, Terry has been secretary of West Malvern for 28 years.
Bob has been involved with the Malvern League since 1942 when he was the secretary of the Nondescripts team and he has been on the executive committee of the league, in one office or another, since 1952.
