WITH regard to your article of Friday, December 1, one can appreciate the delight of Christopher Whitehead governors at being offered a new school.
I share the views of many like-minded people that if planning is given for the school then it stands to reason that the Grove Farm development, on appeal, will also receive planning permission.
I find it impossible to comprehend that any clear-thinking person can be enthusiastic about the above without the upgrading of the Southern Bypass and completion of the Northern Link Bypass to the Kidderminster dual carriageway.
No doubt your readers will have seen the Government u-turn on bypasses. One trusts our elected councillors will now press for the necessary funds to carry out the work before any further development takes place on the west side of the city.
GORDON M BAILEY,
Worcester.
