I OFTEN cycle down Ipsley Street and I am writing for the benefit of other cyclists.
At the bottom of Ipsley Street there is an underpass.
One side is a path for pedestrians and the other is for cyclists.
Each side contains a blind corner.
Cyclists have a right to ride down at any speed but I have seen pedestrians, some pushing small children, use the cycle track and as I see it, one day someone could be injured, the cyclist or the person walking up the track.
The safest answer would be to erect a sign stating cyclists only or vice-versa on the appropriate path.
I myself push my cycle down the track and don't think I am a danger to anyone.
