GUN-wielding masked raiders left empty handed after threatening a member of staff at a Wythall restaurant last Wednesday night.
The incident happened at about 9.45pm at Becketts Restaurant when two men entered the upstairs of the premises after forcing a window and threatened a member of staff with a handgun.
The restaurant, which is on the A435, was open at the time and staff and customers were downstairs in the main area.
Police said after threatening the staff member, the men fled and nothing was stolen.
DC Roger Powell, of Bromsgrove CID, said: This is an extremely frightening ordeal for the member of staff concerned.
And we appeal for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time and seen the offenders or any suspicious vehicles parked nearby to call Bromsgrove CID on 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
One man is described as white, between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall.
He was wearing black clothing with a balaclava-type ski mask over his head and was carrying a handgun.
The second man was described as white and of medium build.
He was also wearing black clothing and a balaclava-type ski mask over his head.
