CAR drivers have stopped using a bus only access road to a Lakeside industrial estate following complaints from a number of residents.
Arthur Street was being used as a short cut to the estate but police mounted an operation to put an end to it.
Sgt Terry Shutt, of South Sector, said a letter had been written to all the companies on the estate explaining the problem and the number of complaints.
He said: We have received a lot of complaints about the amount of traffic which is cutting through to the industrial estate instead of going round.
But we have asked the companies to make sure they go round and we managed to stop it.
