DEAN Roberts is poised to spearhead Evesham United's attack in tonight's FA Umbro Trophy second round tie at Cinderford Town (7.45).

Roberts is likely to return to the starting line-up in place of Shaun Prattt, who suffered a dead leg in Saturday's home defeat against Dr Martens League Western Division leaders Bilston Town.

That's likely to be the Robins' only change for a tie which looks set to finally get the go-ahead tonight at the fourth attempt.

Manager Phil Mullen says the players should still be full of confidence despite the Bilston defeat -- their first in 12 matches. "I thought we did enough to win the game and the performance was good. We just couldn't put the ball in the net."

Mullen believes his side will be able to handle the difficult conditions expected at The Causeway. "We have encountered some poor conditions over the last few weeks but have played some good stuff."

Tonight's winners will visit Ryman League Premier Division side Harrow Borough in the third round on January 13.
