GARRINGTONS made the ideal start when G Eades played Dean Tilley through to break clear and beat the Webheath goalkeeper.

Garringtons were well on top but Webheath never gave up and kept playing football. They got their reward when Smith broke clear to score in the 20th minute.

Two minutes later R Powell played Richard Pincher down the right, who crossed to Tilley who turned his man and shot into the corner of the net to give Garringtons a des-erved lead.

The second half saw Garringtons missing chan-ces and after 55 minutes Tilley took his chance with a fine solo goal.

In the 70th minute Garringtons scored the goal of the game. Banner was played down the left, he beat his man, crossed to the back post to Tilley who squared the ball to Powell, who scored from 15 yards.

Kevin Hassall on his debut scored a fine goal in the last minute.
