BROMSGROVE Ladies' Seconds lost 3-2 to Stourport's combined second and third team. In an end-to-end-game ev-ery player gave 100 per cent. Keeper Diane Teraud made some spectacular saves but by the end of the first half Stourport were two goals ahead.
Town upped the pace of the game and drew on every ounce of experience to draw level. The Sarah Gormley/Lindsay Hyde combination led to Bromsgrove's first goal.
Pam Wood found Gormley at the top of the D. Gormley slipped the ball to player of the match Hyde who swept the ball past the keeper.
Ten minutes later Kelly Evenson set up Wood who calmly took the ball round a defender before tucking the ball away. Unfortunately, Stourport scored the winner from a short corner.
