KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby today brushed aside speculation linking him to the vacant manager's job at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Molby, one of several names being banded about as a possible replacement for sacked Colin Lee, said: "There's nothing I can do to stop speculation and I believe that's all it is."
The former Liverpool star said he was happy at Aggborough where he had a further three and a half years left on his contract.
He said: "I signed a four-year contract in the summer and I am only six months into that. Basically, that's all there is to say about it. I'm trying to make a job of it here.
"It never does you any harm to be linked with jobs, but I'm happy at Kidderminster. Wolves are a big club, it's probably one of the biggest outside the Premiership.
"I believe it's a good job for a manager whose out of work. It would be an ideal opportunity for someone to go in and get their teeth into, but I've got a job here at Kidderminster.
"If my idea was to stay for just six months I wouldn't have signed a four-year contract. If you look over my career I am very loyal and I see no reason we I can't be the same at Kidderminster."
Molby said that if a club contacted Harriers asking to approach him he would expect the chairman Lionel Newton to react in the same way as he has in the past.
He said: "We had the same situation in the summer with Wigan. I have always been fair with the chairman and the club and if it ever came that far I would think he would approach me and ask if I wanted to speak to them.
"He did that in the summer with Wigan and I said yes I wanted to speak to them, just to clear my mind to see what it's all about. I never really had any intention of taking the job but I wanted to speak to them. If something else comes up in the future that might be the same case.
"I'm ambitious. I was ambitious as a player and I believe what's meant to be is meant to be. At some stage I'd like to try to be a manager at a higher level, whether that's with Kidderminster or someone else."
Harriers, meanwhile, have arranged their LDV Vans Trophy second round clash at Bury for Wednesday, January 10.
