A BIG-HEARTED cabbie has been spreading Christmas cheer around Droitwich Spa.
Generous Paul Williams, manager of NY Taxis, has used cash collected throughout the year to buy presents for children who jump in his vehicle in the run up to Christmas.
The cheery Farmers Court resident will be dressed as Santa to ensure all his passengers arrive at their destination full of festive spirit.
Money collected through the NY Appeal Fund is pumped back into the town.
This year it has ensured that 13-year-old Emma Ebanks, of Westlands, rec-eived an extra special treat.
Paul had spotted how hard she worked delivering newspapers on foot.
So when a children's racing bike was donated to the appeal, he knew just the girl who would benefit from it.
He said: "I like to see that people are happy and help out in the community.
"I have been given another bike so I'm on the lookout for a suitable owner."
