A PENSIONER has died more than a week after being in collision with a van in Malvern.
Alfred Buckton, aged 82, who comes from the town's Pickersleigh Road, was taken to Worcester Royal Infirmary after the collision in Harbinger Avenue, on the morning of Monday, December 11.
Initially, although receiving head injuries, his condition was not thought to be serious.
However, he died yesterday, never having left hospital.
Police are now trying to find out more information about the accident.
"Two people have already come forward as witnesses but there were a lot of people in the area at the time of the accident," said PC Nick French, who is investigating the case.
He asked for anyone who was in the area at the time of the accident, around 9.40am, to contact him on 01905 723888.
