WINDOW shoppers in Bromsgrove have chosen their favourite Christmas display -- and one lucky reader won an early present thanks to your No.1 community paper.
Les Adkins, owner of Arcadia Home and Gift Emporium, in High Street, received the trophy donated by the Bromsgrove Marketing Partnership (BroMark), for coming top in our Most Christmassy Window poll.
Reader Emily Phillips won £100 from the Advertiser/Messenger to spend in the shop after she was picked at random from the voters who chose Arcadia.
Having just moved to new premises, owner Les said he only thought of entering the competition at the last moment.
He said: "We always like to do something unusual for our window displays. This year the display was hand-made in Belgium."
He will keep the plaque until next year's competition, when it will again be up for grabs as the town's shops get the decorations out.
