THIS handy list has been compiled for Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa residents who may need the following services over the festive season.
Bromsgrove District Council, The Council House, Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove -- closed December 25, 26, 27 and January 1 2001.
The Dolphin Centre, School Drive, Bromsgrove -- open December 24, 8.30am to 12.15pm, closed December 25 and 26. December 27, 28, 29, open from 7.15am to 3.30.pm. December 30 open 8.30am to 5pm. December 31 open 8.30am to 12.15pm. Closed January 1.
Electricity: In the event of a power cut call the 24-hour emergency power helpline on 08457 331331.
Water: The 24-hour emergency line for water or sewerage problems is 0116 236 8942.
Gas: If there is a problem with your supply or you smell gas call the 24-hour emergency helpline on 0800 111999.
Samaritans: The office will be open 24-hours-a-day throughout the Christmas period and can be contacted locally on (01905) 21121 or on the national 08457 909090 number.
Post Offices: Bromsgrove High Street PO open as usual Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Closed December 25 and 26 and January 1.
Droitwich Spa Victoria Square open as usual Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm. Closed December 25 and 26 and January 1. Inquiries 08457 223344.
Social services: Windsor Street, in Bromsgrove and Ombersley Street East, in Droitwich Spa closed December 25 and 26 and January 1. Emergencies (01905) 748033.
Wychavon District Council: Wychavon One Stop Shop, High Street, will close 5pm on Friday December 22 and reopen at 9am on Thursday December 28.
The shop will be open between 9am and 12.30pm on Saturday December 30 but closed on Monday January 1.

An emergency number --(01527) 404758 -- is available for out of office hours and over the holiday period.
Social services: Ombersley Street East, Droitwich Spa, open as normal, except for Bank Holidays.
