Resolute defending by Kidderminster Boundary firsts helped them to an important 1-0 victory at Birmingham University and second place in DTZ Midlands Division Two.
A good first half should have seen Kidderminster take the lead as both Mark Wheeler and Tom Jarvie had chances.
Eventually, in the second half, a long ball out of defence found Jarvie whose reverse stick cross set up Adam Robson for the only goal of the match.
This was the best performance by the defence which included the likes of Andy Moore in goal, Chris Page, Mike Brazier and Simon Burkes.

The fifths were under pressure from the start in the DTZ League but Keith Burgess put them ahead against the run of play.
Two breakaway goals by the young Edgbaston side gave them the lead before the break.
In the second half, the hosts had most of the territorial advantage but were hit on the break again.
