MAY I, through your newspaper, thank all teachers and helpers of Sion Hill School, Kidderminster.
It seems one of the teachers, Miss Lovesy, answered a national advertisement to obtain free tickets for the whole school to visit the Dome. All the parents had to find was the £7.50 each for transport.
When you stop to think, nine coaches left that school, five at 6am and four at 7am.
The headteacher was at the school for 4.45am to open up. One teacher lives at Malvern, another at Shrewsbury, and they had to get there. I wonder what time they had to get up.
That's what I call dedication to pupils.
I am only a grandparent but appreciate the effort they have all put in to give my granddaughter, and most of the school, the experience of a lifetime.
