ROD Brown's Stourport Swifts are playing catch-up in the Midland Alliance after yet another postponement on Saturday.
Heavy rain left the Walshes Meadow pitch and part of the stand flooded for their clash with high-flying Barwell.
But their visit to bottom-but-one Stapenhill this Saturday will be an opportunity to get back on track.
Winning their many games in hand could push Stourport into the top six from 14th position although pace-setters Stourbridge and Barwell remain 18 points away.
The club then head to high-flying Stratford on Boxing Day for an 11am kick-off.
However, secretary Nigel Green admitted the Swifts will have to get over a nasty habit of struggling against lower sides this weekend.
He admitted: "When we play the so-called weaker sides, we sometimes seem to get a bit blase.
"Stapenhill held us to a 0-0 draw earlier in the season when we should have won easily."
Experienced midfielder Brendan Hackett should be back after recovering from a twisted ankle, while goal man Lee Booth is back after suspension.
Green added: "Stratford are a good side who battle hard."
