CLEOBURY Mortimer ran out worthy winners in Midlands Four West (South) as they dismantled Stoke Old Boys 36-0.
Micky Groves' side held a 3-0 lead at the break after looking the more threatening side and spurning a couple of half chances.
Cleobury, without prop Tony Heap and second-row Ian Rodenhurst, could boast the more varied line-outs, strong scrums and a speedy back-row.
Colin Smith, having struck the post with an earlier attempt, kicked a penalty to put the home side ahead.
Their first try arrived shortly after the restart when James Allen finished off a fine move in the left-hand corner, converted by Smith.
It was not long before centre Rob Norris was able to ignore a two-man overlap and sprint to the line from 30 metres.
A rattled Stoke fought back and were camped inside the Cleobury half for the next 10 minutes but, apart from a missed penalty, they were never really within range.
And when a move broke down, Allen broke clear and chipped a kick through for Julian Harding to win the race for the touch-down.
Despite a few substitutions, Cleobury maintained their quality of display and replacement Chris Gittins scampered clear for his opening first team score, converted by Smith.
Skipper Willie Bache capped a marvellous performance by dashing for the posts on the final whistle and Smith again kicked the conversion.
