WORCESTER Sixth Form College won the County Schools Under19 Cup for the fourth consecutive year with a 3-0 victory over Evesham.
After an early scare when goalkeeper Scott Insall was forced to tip the ball over the bar, Worcester hit back and took the lead on 15 minutes.
Dean Spiers netted a fine free-kick from just outside the box, after being fouled by a Evesham defender.
Worcester continued to apply pressure and at times were playing some excellent football.
Their hard work paid off again when Chris Walton was brought down inside the box. The referee awarded a penalty and Spiers converted it.
Worcester were now well on top and both Yeomans and Sliwa began to run the centre of the park.
After foiling an Evesham attack, Yeomans picked up the ball on the counter, and found Spiers with a defence-splitting pass. Spiers completed his hat-trick in fine style by calmly placing the ball past the goalkeeper to put Worcester 3-0 at the interval.
In the second-half, however, Evesham began to make a game of it, and hit back with some fine attacking football and the Worcester defence was put under constant pressure.
But with excellent support play from the midfield, the Worcester defence of Oakley, Bullock, Walker and Leighton held out well. Evesham began to find it more and more difficult to break them down.
Worcester now represent the county in the U19 Snickers competition against West Midlands champions Solihull College.
