READING that the Rev Mike Vockins has decided to retire from the secretaryship of the county cricket club, would it not be a suitable time for the club committee to review its policies.
Listening to club members around the ground, I can only conclude that many members think as I do - that the club has introduced a non-friendly policy towards retired members, visiting members from other counties and Worcester country members.
It was also a non-friendly attitude when the committee opened up a shop in opposition to the supporters shop, and in doing so, gave supporters and visitors a much lower standard of catering.
These are a few of the comments I've picked up in conversation, but believe me, the list is endless.
Let us have a change of policy and once again have a thriving, happy club membership and then the players would receive the support they deserve.
