DROITWICH-based burner manufacturer Nu-way has appointed Adrian Wood as its new director - parts and components.
He was previously the company's executive manager for UK sales.
Worcester-born Mr Wood succeeds Geoff Hudspith, who has retired after clocking up 41 years with the company.
Mr Wood was educated in the city, attending Samuel Southall School and Worcester Technical College.
He joined an apprenticeship with the Midlands Electricity Board in 1960 before joining Nu-way in 1965.
He began in the service and installation department, carrying out commissioning and service of all products. In 1981 he moved into sales, moving from area to regional sales manager and reaching the position of executive manager for UK sales in 1972.
Nu-way is a member of the Enertech group, which includes four other leading European burner companies.
