A CARER who stole a bank card from an 89-year-old resident in an old people's home has been warned by Kidderminster magistrates that she could face imprisonment.
Goods and cash worth £600 were obtained against the card in 12 shops said prosecutor Sue Cliff.
Pauline Scicluna, 31, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, was bailed for a report after she admitted stealing the card and using it dishonestly.
The card owner was unable to shop for herself, Miss Cliff told the court.
The offences came to light only when her daughter received a bank statement. Scicluna told police she had pocketed the card and used it to obtain presents and cash.
