ON Sunday, December 17, the Junior Church presented to the congregation "Christmas for a Donkey", the Christmas story as seen through the eyes of the donkey that Mary rode to Bethlehem.
The cast was Mary - Erin Clarke, Joseph - Glen Colton, The Donkey - Catherine Nichol, Angels - Hannah Whittal-Williams, Alice Pickworth, Jessica Pickworth, Catherine Munn, Shepherds & Kings - Adam Birch, Andrew Chambers, Christopher Shuard, Inn Keepers - Hayley Brassington, Lindsay Brassington, Narrators - Rosie Colton, Katie Nichols, Paul Jordan, Kimberley Jordan, Catherine Green, Martin Chambers.
The organist was Thomas Nichol.
On Christmas Eve there will be a Children's Crib Service at St James' Church, Callow End at 4pm and on Christmas Day a Family Communion Service at 9.30am.
Don't forget the Christmas event of the year at Callow End Village Hall tonight, (Friday) at 7.30pm. Carols, seasonal readings, mince pies and coffee in a relaxed convivial atmosphere, organised by our very own Tom Wells! All are welcome to this free village event.
