A TRAFFIC engineer is to look at the problem of parking on Como Road, Malvern.
This follows call for tighter restrictions by resident John Simcox, who said it was becoming increasingly difficult to get in and out of his driveway because of vehicles parked on both sides of the road.
Mr Simcox said the problem got worse when charging was introduced in the Victoria Road car park, leading long-term parkers to use the roadside.
"If parking was banned on one side of the road, as it is in the upper part of Como Road, that would go a long way towards solving the problem," he said.
Mr Simcox wrote to Malvern Town Council, which relayed his concerns to the Malvern Hills Highway Partnership.
Mike Davies, of the partnership, said he would be sending an engineer to look at the problem and that a parking ban on one side of the road would be considered.
