I FULLY agree with R G. Spencer (You Say, December 13).
British Taxpayers pay £30m a day (£11bn, a year) into the EU and for what? The EU has ruined our fishing communities, bankrupted our farmers, undermined our laws and institutions and damaged our relations with our true friends, America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Mr Blair's lapdog local MP Mike Foster wants to ban foxhunting. This time-wasting Bill won't put a single extra nurse on our hospital wards, an extra policeman on the beat or another teacher in our schools.
The £11bn we could save by leaving the EU would go a long way to solving the crisis in our hospitals, schools and law and order.
The EU would still keenly want to keep as trading partners - we buy far more from them than they do from us.
