MALVERN Town celebrated Christmas in the best possible way when their home 3-1 Banks Brewery League Premier Division defeat of Kington Town made it a maximum six out of six festive points which moved them up into fourth place.
Andy Shepherd swept them into an 11th minute lead. Minutes later Kington equalised.
Town were quickly back in their stride again, but this time were fortunate when Gary Stevens headed a Steve Walker corner past his own keeper to restore Malvern's lead.
In the second half Shepherd steered home a header to complete Malvern's scoring.
