SCHOOL teachers have raised £70 for charity by not giving each other Christmas cards.
Staff at Holy Trinity School, Kidderminster, instead signed a special card with a simple message and donated the money they saved to Kemp Hospice.
Instigator of the scheme Maggie Skinner said it solved the problem of lack of time and raised an "amazing" amount of money for a good cause.
