A SERVICE that helps elderly and disabled people in Bromsgrove get out and about is threatened with closure unless new volunteers come forward.
The Bromsgrove Minibus has helped people who are not mobile do their shopping or go on visits for the last 12 years.
But following the death of one trustee and another moving away, the remaining trustees are themselves in their 80s and looking for volunteers to carry on their work.
They are also looking for someone to take over the job of taking bookings for the vehicle.
Anyone who can give up some time to take bookings, or who has a clean driving licence and is willing to drive the minibus is asked to contact trustee and treasurer David Hughes on (01527) 831627.
