SINGER Steve Landon muscles his way back to a Kidderminster pub for a special festive performance this week.
Strongman Steve, who has made a habit of taking part in charity events, will be at the Unity Inn where he has proved a hit in the past for a gig on New Year's Eve.
He is known by many across Wyre Forest for his exploits, in particular for pulling heavy vehicles at charity events and for his work in the past as a security guard at Kidderminster's Swan Centre.
The 39-year-old Birmingham-born and Kidderminster-bred man, who has raised money at the Broadwaters Festival and Severn Valley Railway celebrations, said: "I began a karaoke business nine years ago but I don't do that regularly now.
"Sunday is a one-off performance for a few friends and it will be great to return to the Unity as I haven't performed there for a couple of years."
Steve performs a varied programme, but his music centres on covers of his idol, Neil Diamond.
He said: "I think Neil Diamond is fantastic and love his music style."
Steve, who has put together a collection of his songs and is set to cut a 12-track CD in January, will be on stage at the Park Street venue at 9pm.
