A DAD-OF-TWO from Catshill fears residents could get hurt unless streetlights outside their homes are turned on.
A year after moving into properties at Priory Gardens, families are still waiting for developers McLean Homes to turn the street lamps on.
Eddie Moseley, of Cheltenham Avenue, is fed up with waiting after making a host of calls to the Cannock-based developers while the other half of the estate, Clover Ridge, developed by Barratt, is lit up.
He said: "There are pot-holes in the road which is unfinished and I am surprised no-one has fallen down yet because you can't see a thing.
"I have a lamp right outside my house but it is not turned on.
"Even people delivering the Advertiser/Messenger are wandering around in the dark.
"Being one of the first to move here I expected some disruption but a year of waiting for streetlights to be turned on is a bit ridiculous.
"I have tried to contact the developers but keep getting fobbed off."
A spokesman for the McLean Homes said electric company MEB Contracts had been paid to do the work.
A spokesman for them said there had been a mix-up with paperwork between departments.
He apologised to customers and promised the matter would be looked into.
