POLICE in Evesham are calling for help to identify a man who assaulted a customer in a pub on Boxing Day.
The victim was left with a cut lip and bruising after he was punched in the face at The Old Swanne Inn in the High Street at about 10pm on Boxing Day.
PC David Brentnall said: "There seems to be no motive for this attack, but I am confident that someone will know the identity of the offender."
After punching the victim in the face the attacker was seen to leave the pub in the direction of Avon Street. The man is described as clean-shaven, in his 30's, with dark receding hair and a round chubby face. He was wearing a blue open neck shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
