AFTER a Christmas of too much of everything have a relaxing evening on January 7 listening to the dulcet voices of Cheryl Campbell, Alec Jennings and Adrian Schiller.
They team up with the music from the Goldberg Trio in Perchance to Dream, a word and music programme.
The concert, by the Rudolf Kempe Society, has poetry and prose about sleep, dream, insomnia and what might cause it.
It is interspersed with music in a blend of jovial mirth and solemnity, of sadness and exuberance, offered by great writers who epitomised what Bach wished this music to do - "delight the soul."
The concert starts at 7.30pm at the Shakespeare Institute (Mason Croft) in Church Street, Stratford.
Tickets cost £10 (concessions £8), students £3, under 18 free from the Music Shop, Rother Street, Stratford, tel 017899 268515 or at the door.
