STUDLEY BKL manager Mark Chambers says he has spoken to chairman Dave Robinson about whether the Beehive will be fit for the Alliance if he wins the Midland Combination.
The Bees boss is sitting pretty at the top of the table after a 5-1 derby day thrashing of neighbours Alvechurch and says the ball is in his chairman's court.
I've spoken to Dave and we are of the same mind, we think if you win the league you have to go up, said Chambers.
Nuneaton Griffs strolled it last year but haven't found it as easy this time around.
Even the newly-promoted sides like Sutton have had an impact on things.
Studley and Griffs are pulling away from the chasing pack but the biggest test for Chambers comes with a league double-header against deposed leaders Pershore next month.
I've seen everyone in the league except Pershore and there is nothing to fear for us, added Chambers.
With Studley getting stronger every week the biggest question mark over promotion could be the need for improvements at the Beehive.
