WE read about yobs smashing windows, hurling abuse, stoning St Martin's Church and insulting those using the building.
They attack a war memorial, rip out plants, vandalise a seat, threaten young Cub Scouts using the Parish Centre.
George Cowley says these attacks remind him of onlookers who hurled abuse at Christ "as he hung dying on the cross".
Why bother, George? Inactivity and apathy both locally and nationally on such matters would suggest that very few share your concern and prefer "to pass by on the other side"?
