ELEVEN people have been arrested after a massive police drugs operation on homes across Worcester and Droitwich.
The series of raids, which also saw detectives targeting properties in Redditch, took place on Wednesday.
Seven people were expected to appear at Droitwich Magistrates Court today after being charged with a string of drugs-related offences and assaults.
Another man was charged with possession of heroin for his own use and has been bailed to appear before Droitwich magistrates on Tuesday. Two other men and a woman have all been placed on police bail pending further inquiries.
"This was a successful operation and one which shows our commitment to our communities," said Det Insp Graham Smith.
"Residents in Droitwich may become aware of an increase in uniformed police presence on the streets. They should not be alarmed."
