WAS it a flash of inspiration that helped Kidderminster Harriers to a first win in nine Division Three games on Saturday?
Aggborough fans were served up some unscheduled entertainment when a streaker cavorted naked around the pitch early in the second half of the game with Shrewsbury Town.
The man, who spent at least a minute on the run after emerging from the away fans' terraces, was marched by stewards out of the ground after lending him a jacket to cover up.
Harriers, leading 1-0 at the time, eventually won the match 3-1 - only the club's third victory of 2001.
The derby fixture was watched by 4,548 people, Harriers' largest league crowd since the opening day victory over Torquay United last August.
A Shrewsbury man has been charged with outraging public decency and has another "fixture" tomorrow after being bailed to appear before Kidderminster magistrates.
