YOUNGSTERS from Pinvin Pre-School Playgroup turned up with a magnificent collection of Easter bonnets on Tuesday.

Chairman Sue Reeves said: "The children made the bonnets at home, brought them to school and then we had a parade when they were judged. Easter eggs were handed out as prizes."

She added: "They all did very well and there were some beautiful bonnets on parade."

Some 26 children, aged three to five, attend the group in Pinvin Memorial Hall with supervisor Cheryl Nicholls, and the results of the third Ofsted inspection have just been announced.

"The first two were very good but this one was exceptionally good," Mrs Reeves said.
