CHILDREN from a village near Droitwich Spa donned their wellies for a day of gardening last Monday.
Hanbury First School pupils welcomed horticulturalist Mr Rotavator to class.
He spent a day with the 90 students, teaching them about planting and the first signs of spring.
The visit tied in with their current topic - changes.
Teacher Sue Curnock organised the event.
She said: "The children worked indoors and outdoors.
"They were excited about meeting Mr Rotavator and showing him their vegetable patch."
