GROUPS across the district have been given a last call to enter a county contest to mark efforts in the community.
Entries to the Community Pride Competition 2001, which was won last year by villagers in Cookley, must be in by April 30.
The Cookley 2000 Millennium Festival Committee won the overall prize and a millennium award, with prizes of £500 and £100 for staging a firework display, maypole dancing and building a £6,500 16ft clock.
Rock Parish Council also won one of the four millennium awards for visiting every house in the area to gather information for a map.
The project, run by Worcestershire County Council and the Countryside Agency, is in three sections. Teams can enter the environment, heritage or local distinctiveness categories. Details are available from the county council by calling 01905 766727.
